Design for Good

Student/professional project for BGSU | 2013

In a student course called Design for Good, we worked with a client from Family House, a nonprofit that houses the homeless in Toledo, OH. The goal of the course that year was to help Family House bring awareness to their organization and mission. I had the opportunity to design a game that sparked the conversation around homelessness and what it would be like to find yourself in a similar situation. Participant after participant suddenly found themselves expressing deep empathy for anyone who considers themselves homeless and by the end were eager to know how they could help Family House further their mission.
